The Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail is pleased to announce the promotion of Danny Smith of Tyler Texas to the position of South Central Regional Director. Former South Central Regional Director Terry McCormick will return to the Central Region as its Regional Director.
Fishers of Men National Director Al Odom stated “while we have many Division Directors who possess the necessary talents to serve as a Regional Director, we feel very blessed to have Danny stepping into the role of Regional Director. Danny is a “people person” who has been an exemplary leader of his local Division. He brings a wealth of talent and forward-thinking ideas to the position.
Stepping down is long-time Fishers of Men Regional Director Don Smith. Stated Odom “Don has been with FOM since the beginning and while we hate to lose him we respect his decision to spend more time with his family and on his business. Hopefully we’ll see Don back with us in the future. He’s been such a valuable asset for the ministry. We will greatly miss him.
