Virginia East - Legacy Division
About This Division
Welcome to Virginia East “Legacy Series”! Our division is committed to introducing youth, “Our Next Generation”, to competitive bass fishing in a family-oriented environment unlike any other. Come experience the excitement, the thrill, the inspiration and cherish the memories that last a life time. We offer many additional Bonus, Prizes and Awards in addition to everything the national organization has to offer.
Our 2016 season was another exciting year, where the completion was tight down to the last event. We were able to send four of our teams to the Legacy Championship in Pickwick Lake , Florence, Alabama .We averaged a boat field with 18 teams in spite of a building year. VA-East Legacy division continues to grow through the cooperation of our sponsors supporting our divisional incentive programs. More importantly through the anglers themselves in sharing experiences with others and, spreading the word about our professionally ran tournament trail made this division what it is today. We thank all the teams for their participation, their families and friends for providing them support and encouragement along the way. We look forward to continued growth in 2016.
To participate, a team must consist of one angler who has reached his/her 19th birthday before Sept 10th, 2016 and one angler who has not reached his/her birthday before Sept 10th 2016. To register, complete the Legacy member application on the National website and mail to the VA – East Legacy directors address listed on the divisional page. Additional Legacy membership information can be found on the Legacy Home page on the National website. We will be accepting memberships starting January 1, 2016 and would like to extend an invitation to join us this season where young anglers and their adult partners continue to compete in professional team trail tournaments. Some new announcements from the National office are entry fees ($80). Also the limit of bass at the Championship will be set at a three bass limit.
Tournament Plaques and Year End Awards are provided by our sponsors and money raised by our anglers at our raffle table. also from family's within our organization.
