Lake Charles Results: Apr 19, 2008
The Friday night meeting for Lake Charles on 4/18/08 was held at Lake Charles State Park. The New Haven Baptist Youth Group sponsored the meal for the meeting as well as hotdogs for the anglers as they came in on Saturday.
The meeting got under way with Dewayne Kirby speaking on love. Telling us how powerful love is and how we must have love for everyone and God. When the meeting was adjourned the door prizes were handed out and blast off numbers drawn.
Saturday morning all the teams took off at 6:30am. The rain was gone but the wind set in making a tough day fishing. Some teams found it easier than others as the fish came to the scales.
First place went to Scott and Dylan Hewlett with a weight of 7.47lbs. They also got First Big Bass with 4.21lbs and First Bonus Bucks.
2nd Place and 2nd Big Bass went to Terry and Kara Smith with 3.86lbs.
3rd Place and 2nd Place Bonus Bucks went to Terry Tacker and Jonny Schultz with 3.85lbs.
4th Place and 3rd Bonus Bucks went to Dewayne and Callie French with 2.36 lbs.
We had a great time even though are numbers were down a little bit. I hope we have more next month and I can't wait to see you all again!
