Lake Hogue Results: May 17, 2008
The Friday night Meeting on May 16th was held at Trinity Church in Jonesboro. The Church fixed us a fine meal and led us in worship with the church's Acts group performing for us. Following this Pastor Steve Farmer gave us a message about how people that are not Christians look at us in times of trouble to see how we react, to see if we always praise God in times of good and bad.
Following the message the rules were overviewed, door prizes given, and launch numbers drawn.
Bright and early on Saturday the teams arrived at Lake Hogue to meet the day. It turned out to be a fairly nice day with some wind.
Taking First, First Bonus Bucks and First Big Bass was the team of Mike and Mike Nichols with a weight of 10.84 and Big Bass of 2.8.
Second with a weight of 6.14 was the team of Traynom and Traynom.
Third weighing in at 4.85 was Brown and Brown.
Second Big Bass and Bonus Bucks was Smith and Smith with 2.81 and Big Bass of 2.14.
Third Bonus Bucks went to Hewlett and Hewlett with 2.09.
