LAKE OCONEE Results: Apr 3, 2010
The April stop on the trail to Guntersville was a tremendous success. We had a total of 12 teams competing, 8 limits caught, over 100 lbs of healthy Lake Oconee largemouth bass. We also had several new teams for our division.
The Friday night meeting was as always simply great. Pastor Terry and the men at Marshall Memorial did their ususal fabulus job. Pastor Terry brought us a very inspiring message about being Friends of Friday. He showed us in the scripture 4 friends of Friday that representred a 4 step process in our salvation.
Team Sowas took first place honors with a super sack of 5 weighing in at 16.10 lbs. Special thanks to Tim Laturell of the Barrow County Sheriff's Dept for his assistance in our weigh-in.
As always we want to thank our sponors on the National leve, including Mercury Marine, Triton, Kistler, Solar Bat, Markel and many others. And lastly thanks to the fine folks at Sugar Creek Marina.
