We want to say a big THANK YOU to the great group of people at Liberty Baptist Church for hosting our FIRST Legacy event for the SC Legacy Series. There were smiling faces of all ages that helped to prepare and serve an AWESOME meal of fish, chicken, hushpuppies (sorry Monte), cole slaw, baked potato, and the CAKES!!!!!
Thank you so much Liberty, you guys have been an exceptional host church.
Tonight, one of our own anglers, David Barnes, challenged us to think about how much we put into the JESUS TEAM. Its not just about being on the team, but we also need to be prepared to play the game.... to win. So, what do that look like in our Christian walk? Practice is the daily comittments that we give to God, and playing is simply living the life for others to SEE CHRIST in "everything" we do. That's going to church to fishing, and everything in between.
Life is more than what this world has to offer. We were challenged to make the 75 cent gestures in the lives of others, so that peoples lives may be changed the power of the Holy Spirit. Tonight, 3 people made a 1st time profession of faith, and one renewed their walk with Christ. Its is such a blessing to be a part of FOM, and to share in the life changing decisions that our anglers are making. Praise be to God!!!!
We also want to thank Donnie Maddux, of RAINBOW BAITS for all the custom painted lures tonight.
