Bed Fishing 101
We had 9 teams in attendance for the meeting friday night at Woodland Baptist Church . Special thanks to Derrick Millirons and Pastor Junior White for hosting the Legacy South Ga crew. Saturday morning we blasted off from Lake Oliver marina at 9 due to severe thunderstorms and the tornado risk. Anglers blasted off into light rain and it didn't seem to bother any of the teams. All 9 teams weighed in fish. First place went to the team of Scotty and Rachel Sanders who had four fish for 12.25lbs and a big fish of 5.66lbs. Scott caught his fish in two foot or less on or around stumps holding bedding fish. Not far behind Adam Byrd and Tyler Morgan weighing in five fish that went 11.60lbs and a 3.78 big fish. Adam and Tyler caught their fish in two foot or less throwing a jig and a chatterbait. Rounding out with a third place finish was the team of Scott Flournoy and Hunter Terry with 9.09lbs.
