Lake Oconee Results: Feb 25, 2012
We began our 2012 season by enjoying a great meal of BBQ and all the trimmings at Crossroads Baptist Church. Thanks to Pastor Scott Doster and all his crew for the great meal and the program. Brad Gill challenged all of us as Christians to be the best we can all the time.
As we hit the water Saturday morning it was chilly and breezy and the wind increased as the morning went on and the teams found fishing to be a little on the tough side. As we all know, there will always be someone who figures out a way to catch fish. Congratulations to Clay and Zack Wilson for their first place finish with 8.75 pounds. Tom and Hannah Healan finished in a close second with 799 Pounds and Jeff Bates and Trevor Bohannon finished third with 7.54 pounds. Our next tournament will be on March 17th at Lake Lanier. Fishing should be great so come on out and join us.
Remember to get entry fees in early as a late fee will be charged if received after March 9, 2012.
