Tournament #2 is done already, but what a great time we had. Our new host church did such an awesome job. Kurt Norris and his cook crew fed us a wonderful meal of fried fish and pulled pork bbq. Thank you Kurt! Pastor Tim Wood brought us an inspiring message that was truly heart inspiring as well as thought provoking. Thanks Pastor Tim. We had a great crowd of 45 folks and really enjoyed the food and fellowship. Can't wait to go back again next year!
I'd like to welcome some new folks, as well as welcome back some that haven't been with us in a while. Tim Caudill and grandson Ashton Frost as well as Maurice and Charlie Oaks found us as new teams. Glad to have you folks. Hope you enjoyed your experience. And a big welcome back to Jeff and Brady Freeman, Alan and Hunter Campbell, Michael and Troy Logan. Glad you joined us again.
Saturday morning dawned beautifully as the Lord blessed us with perfect fishing weather. Our 16 entrants all blasted off with high hopes of big bass and full livewells. Congratulations to our winners Michael and Troy Logan! They boated 13.71 lbs as well as our 1st big fish of 4.63 lbs. Good bag guys!! 2nd found our current points leaders Dennis and Seth Wright with 12.75 lbs. 3rd was Russ and Miss Amaya Nixon at 11.41 lbs. Rounding out the last 2 money spots were Jeff and Brady Freeman with 11.12 lbs. in 4th and 5th place went to Ralph and Justin Hicks with 10.89 lbs. Our 2nd big fish went to the Claytor tourney winners as well as 2nd place points contenders Jason and Colton Terry. Their fish weighed 3.92 lbs.Congratulations to each of you. And a big thanks to each participant that fished with us. I hope to see you all at our finale at SML on June 2. God bless you all!!
