 The 4th stop of FOMNTT VA West is in the books.

The Friday night meeting for the Blue Eagle Credit Union Tournament at Smith Mountain Lake was held at Radford Baptist Church. We would like to Thank Radford Baptist and Pastor Carl for allowing us to use thier facilities for our event!  The Friday evning message was brought to us by Jared Sowers. His message was from Rev 3:14-22 telling us to be on fire for the Lord in life for Christ. Thanks Jared. Sowers Electric Also provided the Great meal of hotdogs with all the fixings and home made desert of Bannana Pudding and cake! Thanks again Sowers Electirc!

On Friday evening we also gave away a custom crankbait rod made for us from Back Creek Custom Rods! Thanks to Michael Ward and Back Creek Custom Rods for there support of our Tournamet trail.

Saturday morning was wet but mild to start the tournament but it did not dampen the spirits of the compitition. The bite was different with just about everyone you talked to although top water seemed to be the lure of choice. In the end the team of Robert Mills and Charlie Davis won the Tournament, and thje extra $1000 from Blue Eagle credit union, for a cool $2300 take home  with a great bag of 22.98 Congratulations!                    In 2nd place with another great bag of 20.76 was the team of Danny Towe and Trevis Towe                                                                                        In 3rd with another bag over 20 lbs was the team of Chad Green and Johnny Martin with 20.62                                                                                  In fourth place with 19.29 was Frankie Hartman and Ronnie Anderson                                                                                                                          Just out of the money with 18.31 was the team of Dwain Bever and Lacy Burnette.
