The final Friday night meeting of the 2024 season was held at the Guntersville Beach Pavillion and sponsored by St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church. A meal of BBQ and all the trimmings was served to the teams present for the meeting and devotion.  

Saturday morning our 56 teams set out for a fiar day of fishing. At least, it was fair until about an hour before weigh-in when the started to rain and the wind really picked up, leading to an interesting and very wet weigh-in. Our winning team weighed in 5 fish weighing 26.16 pounds. Their big fish was 6.5 pounds, but not our biggest fish of the day. This team was Chris Baldus and Hayden Marbut. The second pace team, Morris and Morris weighed in 24.24 pounds. Third went to Stricklin and Smith with 22.62 pounds. The team of Crowly and Jernigan placed 4th with 21.8 pounds. The team of Whitaker and Polly placed 5th with 20.81 pounds. The team of Crow and Welborn placed 6th with 20.26 pounds. Our 7th place team, Metcalf and Rousch, weighed in 19.97 with a big fish of 7.07 pounds.
