Two of our tournaments for the 2022 season is now complete.  Our second stop of the year was on Lake Cumberland.  For this tournament we had a devotion just before blastoff.  Thirty teams took off from Pumpkin Creek boat ramp hoping to find the winning pattern to catch a large limit of bass.  The team that did just that was Shawn Monhollen and Wade Jenkins.  They came to the scales with a mixed bag of mostly smallmouth and 1 largemouth.  Their total weight for the catch was 15.71lbs.  They caught their fish on jerkbaits.  In second place was the team of Doug Coulter and Todd Wilson.  Their total weight was 14.55lbs.  Doug said they caught their fish shallow using jigs and spinnerbaits.  In third place was the tean of Ted Grigsby and Kelly Poynter.  Their total weight was 13.33lbs.  The team of Jared Carpenter and Brian Ross had big fish of the tournament that weighed 4.54lbs along with the check for big fish they also recieved a bucket of Lucas products donated by Pittaburg Marine.  We wrote checks to the top 6 team and the team in 7th place won 2 fifty dollar gift cards donated by LandBigFish.  Total payout of this tournament was 3400.00.  We have our next tournament next weekend at Dale Hollow, so send in those entry fees to avoid the late fee.  Please call or text if you have any questions, and if you have not fished with us yet this season, it is not to late to join us and I am sure you will have a great time.
