Four tournaments down and one more to go.  This week we visited Barren River Lake in Glasgow.  Our weekend started on Friday night at Immanuel Baptist Church, after a delicious meal of pulled pork, pork shoulder and all the fixens, Robby Perkins talked to us about pressure that we may go through in life and how Christ can help us alleviate some of that pressure if we put our faith in him.  

Saturday morning was cool and we had some drizzle at blastoff.  That did not seem to bother our fishermen or the fish. Most of our competitors brought a limit of fish to the scales and put me to work.  The team of Ted Grigsby and Kelly Poynter had the winning bag of fish with 18.68lbs.  Mr. Grigsby said their fish was caught on a Ted Rig and little plastics.  In second place with 17.31lbs was Billy Duncan and Leroy Gosser.  Leroy stated that all of their fish was caught on bluff walls using jigs.  Third place went to Logan Estes with 15.73lbs.  Logan caught his fish on a frog and a wacky rig.  Big fish of the tournament went to the team of Andy Dunn and Jeff Strong with a largemouth that weighed 5.46lbs.  Andy said the fish was caught on a watermelon magic baby brushog with 1/4 oz weight.   Congratulations to everyone that got a check in this weekends tournament.  The team of Grigsby and Poynter has worked on a decent size lead in the points race, but there is still a few teams that are in striking distance heading to our final tournament on Green River Lake in June.  I am working on a place for our meeting for the final tournament, so keep an eye on the details for it in the coming week.  Also my address has changed.  It has been updated on the website.  The new address is P.O.
