What a beautiful weekend we were blessed with. Friday night we were so glad to be back at Point Pleasent Baptist Church. THEY HAVE ALWAYS BEEN A GREAT HOST. Nothing was any different this year. They provided us with a fish fry with all the trimmings to go with it. Good homemade desserts to follow. Devotionial was given by there paster Robert Mcbroom. His main point was for us to study Gods Word. He used the example of Simon Says. He told us there are a lot of people that apear to be followers but may not be speding Gods truths. This is why we need to let God talk to us through HIS WORD, THE BIBLE. Thanks so much for those encouraging words. Big THANKS to Point Pleasant Baptist Church for all the do for us.
We headed out on the big pond at safe light with 26 teams. We had a beautiful day to try to find some fish. Ky lake is still a long way from what it was but may be showing a trend in the right direction. Fishing was better for some and others is was not good. We had 6 teams fill the 5 fish limit with 9 teams finding no keepers. 1st place went to the team of Philip Moss & Josh Taylor (fished with us from north mississippi division) with17.01, 2nd went to Thomas & Danial Cheshire with 16.05, 3rd going to Robert Brownlee & Kent McAfee with 15.21, 4th was Jimmy & Josh Clary with 14.05, and 5th was Hunter Alsup & David Wilson with 13.17.
