The Berkley Classic Series District 4 Championship presented by Realtree Fishing began on Thursday evening at Ridgecrest Baptist Church where the Outdoor Ministry Team cooked up some Bar B Que chicken, beans, potatoe salad and desert for our anglers. Thanks to our host Durham Sports Commission and Ridgecrest for the great hospitality. 

Our teams heard a great message from former Professional Baseball Player Rocky Coyle about letting our lights shine as believers.

Saturday morning we were treated to a beautiful sunrise as 48 teams left the Upper Barton's Creek on Falls Lake in search of some of the Big Fish this lake is know for. Leading the charge on Day 1 was the team of Jason Thomas and Steve Summer from Basscat dealer Rock Outdoors who dropped 26.55 lbs on the scales anchored by a trio of 6 lb + fish.

In 2nd after Day 1 was the team of Robert and Bobby Osborne whose 5 fish limit tipped the scales at 21.34 lbs. Their bag was anchored by the Day 1 Big Bass a 6.97 lb brute.

In 3rd was the team of Jessie Wise and Josh Ballard who brought 19.72 lbs in.

4th Place was taken by Michael Coley and Alan Thompson who brought in 19.22 lbs

Rounding out the top 5 was the team of Alan Revels and Jason Holt who tipped the scales at 16.63 lbs
