The District 3 Berkley Classic Series Championship Presented by Realtree kicked off Thursday evening at the beautiful Corley Mill House & Gardens in Lexington SC where our Host Experience Columbia provided our anglers with what many were saying was the best meal we have ever had at a FOM event. Scott Powers and his staff provided Bar B Que Pork, Chicken Tenders, Macaroni & Cheese, Potatoe Salad, Rice and Hash, Okra and Potatoes, Carrot Salad, Baked Beans, Grecian Bread and Banana Pudding and drinks and there was plenty of it. Thanks Scott as we like to say in the South... Ya'll outdone yerself on that one

The  Bass Chaplain Chris Wells brought a powerful message challenging us to not only be hearers but doers of the word. He pointed out that statistics show that only 32% of professing Christians read their Bible each day but 66% report looking at Facebook each Day. If we can find time for something so triveal as Facebook shouldn't we be spending time in God's word each Day!
