Our first Friday night meeting was held at First Baptist Church Colbert Heights where we were served a wonderful supper of salad, lasagna, bread, and homemade desserts. Following the meal, our devotion was delivered by Bro. Seth Hood. We had a total of 44 teams in attendance.
Our 44 teams met at dawn at the boat ramp at McFarland Park. The teams had a rainy and foggy day to fish, but we had some excellent bags of fish brought in. Our top team, Daniel and Downs, weight in 5 fish for a total weight of 19.09 pounds. The team of Lambert and Lambert brought in our big fish, weighing 7.05 pounds.
Our next tournament will be held on 3/9/2024 on Smith Lake. The Friday night meeting will be held at Meek Baptist Church. The address is 360 County Road 77, Arley, AL 35541. Registration will begin at 5:30 and the meeting will begin at 6:00 pm. Late fees of $25 will be enforced. If mailing in your entry, it should be postmarked by March 1, 2024.
