Another rainy start for our second event of the season. Lets hope we arent playing this record on repeat!

Thankful to New Life Louisa for hosting and feeding us Friday night! Pastor Todd brought a great message about the ripple effects of sin and also the ripple effects of Gods grace. It was a powerful testiomny and message that I believe hit home with many in attendance.

We were greeted once again with heavy rain Saturday morning for blast off. It was fitting that fairly strong winds moved in to push the rain out around 10:30. The good thing is Lake Anna bass seem to like foul weather and were feeding first thing in the day!

Eric Rowe and Eddie Griggs topped the field with a solid 20.43lb bag followed closely by Melvin Fulk and Bryan Conley in second with 20.12lbs.

3rd was Kevin Beasley and Jacob Neff with 19lbs even.

4th was Jay Griffin and Doug Wharton with 18.82lbs ancored by the events 6.69lb big fish.

5th: Jay and Danny Ferk with 17.69lbs

6th: Melvin Bowling and Derrin Falls with 15.68lbs.

Taking home a pair of Abu Garcia rods for the "Capital Dents out of the money award" was Wilson Bradley and his son.

Timothy Payne and Erik Anderson took home a couple Bass Pro Gift cards for the Romans 5:3-6 perserverance award, presented by Carol Dinsmore Realty "in memory of Calvin Carter"
