Mark Couch and Ronnie Milner win First Tournament with a weight of 15.39 lbs, they caught most of there fish in 4-6 feet of water on Watermelon red finesse worms and Red,Green and White Rattle traps in 8 to 12 feet of water. most fish were caught between 11 and 2:30.
2nd Place went Tim and Trey Thomas with a bag of 13.76 lbs
they caught there fish on orange rattle traps in aprox 3-4 ft grass flats.
3rd Place went to Father Son Rusty and Levi West with the weight of 12.87 lbs their bag was caught in 5' to 11' deep near main lake points. They were using lipless crank baits, wacky worms & carolina rigs over grass. The water was stained with the surface temp running between 54 to 58 degrees. Our big fish 4.80 lbs was caught on a watermelon red trick worm on the carolina rig.
40 teams,total Fish Weighed 117 for a weight of 254.52 lbs with a 100% released.
Friday night started with a wonderful meal supplied by first Baptist of Broaddus after ward with Pastor Barth with a message about Our Time is short and that we need to spread the gospel because God has equipped us with what we need.
