Lake DeGray Results: May 8, 2010
Second Baptist in Arkadelphia once again treated us like kings with the best chicken spagetti in these parts. Travis Berry encouraged us to do the will of the Father as he shared his heart with us after dinner. 9 teams showed up for the last tournament of the year. The points race was up in the air as 4 teams had a real shot at the automatic birth to the national championship, plaques, jackets and points champion money.
It was Marsha Gipson and Sam Lowrey that topped everyone with 14.33lbs including big fish of 4.30lbs. Chuck Wisdom and Nathan Howell finished 2nd with 13.45 and Chris Hale finished third with 13.15 fishing by himself again. (where are you Larry?)
In the end there was a tie for points champions. Total weight for the year determined the winner and Cody Davis and Tim Marshall came out on top over Michael Welch and Ron Boshears. Congrats to Cody and Tim.
