Guntersville Results: Apr 24, 2010
Our meeting was hostted by the New Hope Baptist Church. We had a wonderful meal of salad, lasagna and many good deserts. Thanks to all who helped. You did an outstanding job. Thank God for all of you & your generosity. Thanks to Bryan for speaking to us and giving us an opportunity to share our testimonies. Praise God for the 2 re-commitments to Jesus. Thank You Lord!
We discussed the weather at the meeting, and I decided we would fish Saturday morning depending on the weather. Because it was stormy in the morning, we delayed our shoot off until 6 a.m. The water was rough but everyone was safe. I thank God for that. The weather in Guntersville got bad later that evening and many people in that area still need our prayers for the damage and loss they had. First place went to Greg Taylor and Edward Looper. Total weight 21.72 lbs. Also 1st place in bonus bucks. Second place was Jimmy Beshears and Blake Beshars with 19.22 lbs. Third place was Tim DeFoor and Phillip DeFoor with 18.98 lbs and second big fish weighing 6.54 lbs. Fourth place was Jim Barnette and Jonathan Barnette with 18.28 lbs and second place bonus bucks. Fifth place was Eric Davis and David Mier with 18.21 lbs and third place in bonus bucks. Sixth place was Nick Reeves and Blake Hall with 18.04 lbs.
Congratulations to our winners and all who fished. God was good to us by holding the severe weather off until we were through. Thank You Lord! We give you the praise for it all! Hope to see you at Pickwick!
