Pickwick Lake Results: May 22, 2010
The friday night meeting was hosted by Florence Baptist Church. There were 78 people at the meeting. The speaker was Brother Phillip Skipworth, who is also the pastor at Florence Baptist. He shared a message out of 2 Chronicles 7:14 - he shared with us that God has us here to make a difference and do his work. Brother Phillip left on Saturday morning going to the Phillipines to spread the Word of God. Please be in prayer for him, his family and his church. We had 3 renewed commitments to the Lord and we praise God for these.
Our Saturday morning got started at 5 a.m. and went very well with two other tournaments starting at about the same time. The weather was very good. It was in the low 90s by 3 p.m. for our weigh in.
Our first place goes to Jimmy Garrie and Joe Garrie with 5 fish weighing 16.36 lbs and also first place bonus bucks. For a total of $618 each. Second place was Jonathan Barnette and Jim Barnette with 5 fish weighing 16.08 lbs and second place bonus bucks and second big fish for winnings of $415.50 each. Third place was Ty Hester and Chase Hester. They also won third place bonus bucks for a total of $257 each. Fourth place went to Robert Moore and Ken Callahan for a total of $178 each. Fifth place went to Phillip DeFoor and Tim Defoor for a total of $148 each. Sixth place went to Nick Reeves and Blake Hall for $118.50 each. this team had first big fish weighing 4.29 lbs for an additional 499 each.
