Joe Wheeler State Park Results: Jun 19, 2010
Our Friday night meeting was hosted by First Baptist Center Star. What a blessing First Baptist Center Star has been to our division of Fishers of Men. Thank you and God's blessings on you. We had 29 boats with 82 people attending the meeting. One person renewed their commitment to Christ. We praise the Lord for that! We would also like to thank Brother Dan Darracott for sharing the Word of God with us. Dan has shared with us at 4 of our division meetings and we are thankful. We had a great meal of chicken stips, macaroni and cheese, pasta salad, rolls and fantastic deserts. We even had a Fathers Day cake that Laurie Roach had made for all the Fathers! Thank you to all who worked so hard and have been so faithful. My team makes it easy for me to be a Director. I thank God for each on each one of you who has fished and supported Fishers of Men during the time I have been the Director. At the end of the 2010 season I must step aside to support my family with some health issues. I thank God for Fishers of Men, the leaders and the fishermen who have been so dedicated to working for the Lord.
First place for our tournament went to Jonathan Barnett and Jim Barnett with 5 fishe weighing 19.14 lbs - first big fish weighing 5.95 lbs and first place bonus bucks. This team is also our Anglers of the Year for 2010.
Second place went to Jack Napier Sr. and Jack Napier Jr with 5 fish weighing 18.04 lbs and second big fish weighing 4.81 lbs and second place bonus bucks.
Third place went to Nick Reeves and Blake Hall with 5 fish weighing 17.67 lbs and third place bonus bucks.
Fourth place went to Eric Davis & David Mier with 5 fish weighing 12.78 lbs.
