Our first legacy tournament of 2010 was March 13. We had 15 boats. The friday night meeting was hosted by First Baptist Church Center Star. We had hot dogs, fries chips and good deserts. Thanks to all who helped with the meal. There were 43 people in attendance at the meeting. Brother Dan Darracott encouraged us with the Word of God. There was one renewed commitment to the Lord. Amen! Thank God for this! Thank you Brother Dan for allowing the Lord to use you. Our weather Saturday was wet, windy and cold. The rain was on and off -- but more on than off. Some boaters left early, but most made it for the duration. There were some good strings of fish weighed in. First place was Jackie Flack & Eathan Flack with 17.35 lbs - also first place for bonus bucks for $326.50 in winnings. Second place was Danny Montgomery and Brayeden Montgomery for $172.00 in winnings. Third place was Ken Callahan & Clint McAbee with weith of 15.17 and second place in bonus bucks for $187.50 in winnings. Fourth place was Chris Hunt & Miller Hunt with 13.22 weight and third place in bonus bucks for total winnings of $115.00 Fifth place was Paul Brown & Braden Price with weight of 11.53 pounds and first big fish of 6.30 pounds and winnings of $113. Congratulations to all. This tournament trail means alot to our youth and adults alike. My grandson Carlton Roach & his dad David Roach caught 5 fish with one being the biggest fish Carlton had ever caught. He was very excited and said "thank God and the fishers of Men" Congratualtions to all. God bless you. Praying I'll see you at the next meeting.
