TNC Legacy started our first tournament at Bullard Southern Baptist Church for Friday' meeting. The folks there prepared home-cooked mexican food that was delicious and lots of desserts to finish it off. It was an awesome meal and we are thankful for all they have done for us.
Pastor Donny Barron brought the message and talked to us about what we can give to others in our walk through life. This helps others see the love of God who gave the ultimate free gift of His Son. Jesus died on the cross for all of us, all we have to do is accept this gift of Salvation and look to Jesus and let Him transform our lives. Thanks Brother Donny.
We started out Saturday morning in the mid 40's with partly cloudy skies and 12 teams. It warmed up to the upper 60's and was a perfect day for fishing with the kids.
1st Place went to David and Matt Pace with 5 fish weighing in at 17.4 lbs. The fish were caught on a Zoom trick worm.
2nd went to Shawn and Jaylynn Wildt with 5 fish weighing 12.41. THey were using spinner baits and chatterbaits to catch their limit.
3rd was the team of Kevin and Emily Hukill with 4 fish coming in at 10.17. Jr. partner Emily pulled this one out catching their last 2 fish on a Carolina-rigged Fluke just before time to weigh in. Way to go Emily!!
4th Place was Renny and Cayleb Miles with 2 fish with a weight of 8.65. They also won 2nd Big Bass with a 7.3 lb hog!
Big Bass of the day went to father-daughter team of Lance and Libby Eitel. They were blessed with a huge 7.63 lb monster! Nice!
The day was a real blessing with 11 of 12 teams weighing fish and perfect weather for all.
We would like to thank all who make the Legacy Series possible. God Bless
