Arkansas River Pine Bluff Results: Apr 17, 2010
It was a busy day in Pine Bluff Harbor, with two tournaments going out of the same location; the fish quickly found themselves the focus of attention.
Friday night’s meeting went great. We met at Watson Chapel Baptist Church where we were served a great meal of Grilled Pork Chops and Chicken, Baked Beans, Cole Slaw, Potato Salad, Rolls, and great Desserts. Then we were served “The Bread of Life” by Pastor Todd Howard. He delivered the message clear and to the point that we need God’s salvation. The men were left without excuse (Thank You Pastor Todd). Following the message one accepted Christ as their savior and another expressed the need to know more about a Christian Life. Thank you Watson Chapel Baptist Church very much for your ministry.
It was a beautiful day for our fishermen as they blasted off at safe light. It was a bit windy at times but over all a great day on the water. The teams were on the hunt for a big bag of fish. At the end of the day less than 4lbs separated the top ten, which means a kicker fish for any one of them could have made all the deference. The Big Bass of the day (3.98lbs) was weighed in by John Gray and Chuck Halbert, and second place Big Bass (3.72lbs) went to Mike Courtney and Rufus White. This month’s tournament left the points race very close and a lot is riding on the next two tournaments.

2nd Place: 13.72lbs : Steve Allison - Sam Sullivant
3rd Place: 13.65lbs : Jason Lovell - Thomas Duncan
