Congratulations to all who fished our Lake Verret Tournament. We had a great time at our Friday Night meeting at Higher Ground Church. Thanks to Big John for getting us set up and torn down, you folks at Higher Ground are always a blessing to Fishers of Men and me personally, Thanks.
Ryan Altazan gave us a great message on making sure we keep the sin out of our life so that there is nothing between us and God.
It was great to have Bobby Fowler fishing with us this tournament. He is always missed. Keep up the fight Bobby, you are in our prayers.
Although the wind blew everyone around alot Saturday we had a close to 70 fish caught with 18 boats. Like I said, the best anglers are in So. La.
The winning bag of 13.48, was caught by Doug and Brandon Bergeron. They were proud owners of $486.75 each.
Second place was Jimmy and Tammy Charbonnet with 13.34.
Jimmy and Tammy are having a great year with us, keep up the good work!
Third Place goes to Winston Michel and Timmy Templet with a catch of 13.30. They were also First place Big Fish, a nice 4.14 hog.
Second place Big Fish went to Curtis King and Robert Fontenot, 3.90.
