It was a great weekend for the welcome back of the Fishers of Men National Tournament series on the Mississippi Gulf Coast. To start if off the Friday night meeting held at Grace Chapel Baptist was wonderful. Had a fried speckled trout dinner with all the fixins and the womens and mens ministry really served us well. After the meal, Lauren Kilgore sang us a beautiful son about "Do you see Jesus In Me", and boy what a touching song that was. Pastor Stan Proctor followed with a great fishing message and then it was on with the prizes. Everyone left the meeting with something to bring home.
With a falling tide and over cast skies for the tour most all day Saturday, all of our 7 teams caught fish. Jason Griffin and Phillip Tapp weighed in a nice sack of fish taking first place with a total weight of 10.49 and first place lunker of 3.26 to cash in on the $672 top prize. Randy Ladner fishing with grandson Jace Ladner finished second with 9.55 and third place went to Skipper & Chuck Smith with a total weight of 8.70.
For the first tour and bringing the Fishers of Men back to the coast, it was really fun and had a great time. Thanks to all the help at Grace Chapel and look forward to the the next tour on Febuary 11th at Flint Creek. Looking for some big sacks of fish on the body of water that time of year.

Thanks to all and come join us at the next tournament.
