Pascagoula River Results: Mar 10, 2012
Started out with a great Friday night meeting hosted by First Baptist Church of Vancleave. They served us fried chicken, potato salad, baked beans, bread & tea then topped it off with some cake. WOW. Thanks guys for hosting this event. After the meal we were greated by Mr. Mark Ruffin. He gave his testimony that everyone really keyed in on and was moved by. Thanks Mark.
Saturday morning was a little cool but was expected to warm as the day goes on. Blasted the 8 boat field off for competition at 6am then watched a beautiful sunrise.
As the weigh in started, it looked like everyone was going to stack in real tight in weights. Six of the eight weighed in with only a 1.36 pound difference from top to bottom. Second to last boat made there way to the scales and had a nice sack. Chris and Alan Hults weighed in 12.22 which was anchored by a 4.31 toad. With only one boat left to knock them off the top, the adult / junior team made there way to the scales. With all smiles, Jace age 9 and JR angler pulled out a 4.51 sow to land first place big fish and his personal biggest ever. With a total weight of 10.77, Randy & Jace would have to settle for second place and the Hults team would bring home the victory. With the win and second place lunker they would cash out a nice payday of $846 for there work. Nice job guys & congrats Jace. Thanks to all and looking forward to Gulfport Lake tour April 21st. God Bless to all.
