Gulfport Lake Results: Apr 21, 2012

The talk of rain seemed to be the topic from all the fishermen at the Friday night meeting. Hosted by Woolmarket Baptist Church, the meal was great and the fellowship was awesome. A great message was delivered and on to the tour briefing.
The morning talk at the launch was the same from most everyone. "When is the rain going to get here". Well the cloud cover was here and the wind was picking up as daylight approched. As the sun lit the waters and blast off got on the way, the 8 boat field would make there way to the first spots.
Here we go, time to weigh in some fish. Making there way to the scales with a nice sack of fish, team Ruff & Ladnier would weigh in there 5 fish totaling 8.13 for there day. Next up team Main & Mayfield, walking up with smiles like two kids in a candy store, and would have something in there sack to smile at. With a sow weighing 4.19 and boosting there 5 fish sack to 10.08, the team was standing tall with only one team to bring there fish to the scales. Last up team Smith & Smith brought there big black release bag to the bump tank. The first fish out of the bag was a beauty that would weigh in at 5.25 and bringing there total for the day with an impressive 13.36 pound limit. Great catch that would keep them in the points lead and have a payday worth $768. Great job guys!!
Thanks to everyone that helped make this Fishers of Men tour possible. God Bless to all and looking forward to the final tour of the season on May 12th at Pearl River.
