The Fishers of Men Legacy-Tyler Texas division’s February tournament was held at Lake Tyler. It was a great day to be on the lake. Matthew Hutchins and Jayce Hutchins took 1st place with five fish that weighed 14.38 pounds. They also caught a bass that weighed 4.51 pounds to take 1st place for big bass. Their total winnings were $265.00 Jayce Hutchins won the 1st place trophy. Brett Sumpter and Dylan Sumpter took 2nd place with a two fish stringer that weighed 4.28 pounds. Dylan won the 2nd place trophy. Robert Templin and Kelby McGaughey won 3rd place weighing 3 fish for 4.05 pounds. Kelby won the 3rd place trophy. Lance Eitel and Ellie Eitel won second place in Big Bass with a fish weighing 2.61 pounds. They received $10.

The pretournament meeting was hosted by Trinity Baptist Church. Thirty two people were in attendance. Trinity’s Fellowship Team provided a hot dog/hamburger dinner. Jerry Abercrombie aka “Aberdaber” the clown entertained the fishermen with magic trick. Next Mike Corb, our Chaplin, brought the message. The meeting was ended by giving out door prizes and the final instructions to the fishermen.
