We had a great weekend to say the least for the kick off of our first tournament with the Ark-La-Tex Division. I would like to thank Gander Mountain for hosting our meeting Friday evening. We had a wonderful meal. I also want to thank Danny Smith for the great message he gave us.
The weather was perfect but fishing was tough due to the high water the corps were releasing and that meant lots
of current.
Our first place team was Hunter Cox and Royce Hickson who brought in 12 lbs even. They also took the honor of having 1st Big Bass of 3.04 lbs and to top it off, they won Bonus Bucks as well and took in a pay day of $517.50 for the day.
Coming in second place were Rick Hill and Randall Case who brought in 9.50lbs.
Our third place team Doug Rochelle and Ken McMellon brought in another great bag weighing in at 7.12lbs.
What a great weekend Guys!! Thank you all for letting Me be a part of this great ministry! We look forward to the rest of the season.
I would like to thank our Divisional Sponsor: Jake Hambleton State Farm who paid the $200.00 bonus for one of his customers winning the tournament.
