Friday evening meeting went great, with Cedar Bluff Baptist Church being a great host as always. Our 33 teams were all represented, and after eating some dogs and burgers, our own Garry Burns gave a message. We received 2 rededications to our Lord Jesus. Praise God.
Saturday started cool, but the rain missed us, and we ended up having a very pleasant day, especially for our points leader team of Brian Fomby and Tony Parton. They managed a limit over 18 pounds, with a 5.87 kicker to sweep the event, bonus bucks, and big Bass. Great job guys!
Chad Weaver and Randy Gravett stepped up to the scales with a 16.69 limit, showing they plan on moving up the points ladder. The Tackle Trap team of Cody Vaughn and Brian Franks found some magnum spots to help lock up third place.
I want to thank my wife Kathy, Kenneth and Cristina Whitehead, Heather Brewer as well as Ron and Elaine Holler and everyone else who helped out with our short staff this week.
