The second stop on the NC Piedmont Division of Fishers Of Men National Bass Tournament Trail was at Lake Wylie. The Friday night meeting was held at Hope Community Church in Charlotte. Magician Glen Yost performed for at crowd of 100 and amazed us with is magic. Mike Sides Brought the message called ”The Path”.
Saturdays tournament started out with rain and wind. By the time the weigh-in arrived the ain cleared and it was sunny. Mark Benge of Rockwell and Rodney Cozart of Edin won the event with a weight of 13.97 winning $1008.00. Only .001 behind was Kenny J Seagle of Salisbury and Drew Montgomery of Mooresville with 13.96 Pounds with a tie for second big fish of 3.77 The won $826.00. Steve Singleton and A.L. Needham of Asheboro took over the points lead with at third place finish with 13.90 and second big fish tie with Seagle and Montgomery. They won $606.00 . Kenneth shumate and John Shumate fisnished 4th with a catch of 13.59 winning $346.00. James Allred and Clarence Bricky was 5th with 11.90 and winning $288.00. Steve and Shelton Martin won $422.00 by fininshing 6th and winning big fish with 4.78 kicker fish. Most fish were caught on the beds.
Fishers of Mens next Tournament will be at Lake Norman on April 21st.
