Thank you all for a very enjoyable season for the Granite City crew. We were very happy to provide these tournaments for the 2012 season. Our year end awards will be mailed in Sept after we help Chisago Lakes Legacy through their season.

Congratulations to Brian and Ben Wick. They are our Little Big Bass boat. They won both Clearwater and the Koronis tournaments, thus taking the season points Championship. The boats with 12 year olds and younger had a breakout year. This is the largest bag on Koronis for Legacy by a .1 lb difference. The largest fish in the Wick bag was 4.28 lbs and there were several of the same size. They won the division with 593 points which was the largest point total in the six years of Legacy. This is the first time a LBB boat won the Division championship. They earned a record $1419.50 during the season. This was a pretty good summer job for a 9 year old. Ben lives in St. Michael, MN.

James Chapmen with younger brother and a substitute took 2nd Place for the season and 3nd Place in the Koronis tournament.

2nd Place at Koronis went to Kerry Bridge and Connor Wendt with 17.83 lbs. bag.

The largest bass for the year was a 5.35 lbs out of Clearwater caught by Brian Wick.

The largest fish by a junior angler was Matt Murphy’s fish at Koronis a 4.94 lbs Largemouth. This fish will be made into a replica by Mid America Taxidermy and Matt Daiker Painting Co. for Matt.

We will see you next year with basically the same season line up and dates. A special thanks to Steve Walker and watchastitchin.com for making a series and unique colored plaques for all our winners.
