Santa Fe Results: Apr 28, 2012
Our third tournament of the year started on Friday 2/27/12 and found us at 1st Baptist Church, Starke, FL with a great meal, furnished by David and Martha Smith, fellowship, and an inspirational message by Pastor Blake Albritton, the new pastor of 1st Baptist Church. There were 9 teams signed up for the tournament. The meal consisted of baked ham, green beans w/potatoes, macaroni & cheese, apple crisp, and sour cream pound cake, made by my wife Jana. During the meeting, the Holy Spirit moved one member to renew their commitment to the Lord.
Tournament day started on Little Lake Santa Fe due to low water at the big lake ramp. 1st place and 1st bonus bucks went to the team of Jason McClellan and Clint Sheppard. Jason and Clint had a 5 fish limit weighing 19.16 after a .25 penalty for a dead fish. David “Andy” Smith and Joe Whiteside were 2nd with 16.57and with 1st big fish 7.61 and 2nd bonus bucks. 3rd place and 3rd bonus bucks went to Kent Scroggins and David Seibert 10.52. With the 3rd tournament over the points lead is held by Smith/Whiteside by 3 points over McClellan/Sheppard.
Hope to see all at the next tournament May 12th on Rodman at Kenwood ramp.
