Lucas and Anderson Fish on Top for the Win
The Florida Central Legacy Division of the Fishers of Men National Tournament Trail hosted their third event of the season on the Conway Chain in Orlando, FL. We had 8 teams who blasted off to a windy, cool morning.
First place went to Kevin Lucas and Robert Anderson with a total weight of 9.18 lbs and Second Big Bass of 3.15. Kevin and Robert fished topwater baits including flukes for their catch. Coming in second place was the team of Billy and Preston Charland with 8.42 lbs. They also cashed in on the trash fish with a nice 3.05 lb pickerel. The Team of Trevor Brown and John Cox had Big Bass honors with a nice 3.31 lb largemouth.
Our Friday meeting was held at Bass Pro Shops in Orlando. We are very grateful of their sponsorship over the years. A delicious meal of pulled pork from the Oakwood Smokehouse was served. Since the meeting was held on Good Friday, the message was about the first Passover when God provided a sacrificial sign when the Jewish people were in Egypt to spare the firstborn. That was only a foretaste of the bigger plans He had for the salvation of all humanity. Have you accepted that sacrifice?
Our next tournament will be on Lake Toho where there are some monsters. Our meeting will be at First Baptist Church of St Cloud on Friday night. Check out the Details under the schedule section.
