The NC Piedmont Legacy Series wrapped up the 2012 season on High Rock Lake on June 23. Anglers were welcomed with open arms Friday night by JULIE ROWLAND (LIFE GROUPS COORDINATOR) along with SHANE MURTHWAITE of High Rock Community Church in Lexington, NC for an amazing time of fellowship, meal and tournament information.
Bright and early Saturday morning as teams starting to arrive at the boating access @ Buddle Creek, they found Hot pancakes prepared by Maleena Bruggner! All 12 teams came to this tournament from areas of VA and the Central & Western part of NC to land that record weight/fish that High Rock lake is known for. As teams started coming to the Flow scales we found that it had been a very challenging day of fishing.
James Glasscoe and Mitchell Bruggner locked in and won 1st place with 6.74lb. 2nd place went to the team of Allen Snyder and Jason Odell with 4.80lb. 3rd went to the team of Mike Sides and Nathan Fullbright 4.66lb. 4th place was awarded to the team of Robert Caudill and Ashton Frost. 2012 JR ANGLER of the year was awarded to Nicholas Geiger! Your 2012 Points Champions were Nathan Fullbright/Mike Sides. I want to personally congratulate all teams that came out and that made this year such an amazing & enjoyable experience for the Legacy staff to be part of. I want to thank Robbie Hunter and Jason Medlin for countless hours of their own time they have put into this series.
