NC Piedmont Legacy Series headed to Badin Lake on May 26. Angler’s joined in a time of fellowship at Open Door Baptist Church as we went over tournament information and details. Jonathan Leonard, owner of Get-Tha-Net Customs supplied every Jr Angler with their own tackle pack. Director Chad Hooker took a moment and looked at the foundation of having that personal relationship with Christ.
The early morning brought mild temps and calm winds as all teams prepared to blast off from Lakemount Access. The water quickly became overwhelmed with party boats and personal water crafts but that did not stop the teams from bringing in over 86lbs worth of largemouth bass to the FLOW scales.. 1st place went to the team of David Jeffery’s & Noah Lamb with 15.57lbs.. 2nd went to the team of Tommy Jones & Cooper Grubb with 13.52lbs. 3rd place went to Marc Morrison & Nickolas Geiger with 13.44. 4th place was awarded to the team of Dave Snyder and Matt Griffin weight in with 10.84lb. The big fish of the day weighing 6.09lb was caught by the team of Marc Morrison & Nickolas Geiger.
