Fishers of Men, Missouri Ozarks Division - Pomme De Terre, 5/5/12 results.
The Friday night meeting was held at the beautiful Clearlight Inn in Carsons Corner. Our speaker was Bro. Kevin Jackson, who did a great job. Saturday morning found three different events waiting to launch at the Hermitage Ramp. When all was said and done, the team of Garon Smith and Greg Johnson had the biggest sack - 5 fish weighing 10.38 pounds. This win, following a second place finish at Table Rock in April, put them in the lead for the division championship pot. All their fish came on crankbaits. They also captured the bonus bucks pot and Big Bass with a 3.37 pound fish. Kevin and Brian Jackson also had 5 fish, weighing 9.96 pounds, which gave them second place and second in the bonus bucks. Kevin and Brian were flipping worms in the brush. Randy Roustio and John Gamblin earned 3rd. in the bonus bucks pot with 5 fish weighing 8.57 pounds. Orval Dale and Jim Budden had a 3.21 pound bass for Second Big Bass.
Hope to see you at our third event at Truman Lake on June 9th. There are 3 events remaining. Fish the last three and you'll qualify for the Regional Championship where first prize is a new Skeeter Bass Boat!
