COURTNEY SMITH HAS FIRST TOURNAMENT CATCH AT MT. STORM
The North Appalachian Legacy Series kicked off their 2012 season at Mt.Storm's Vepco Lake. The day started with the pre-tournament meeting being held prior to launch, since the availability of services are limited in this area. All 14 people stood in 38 degree temps to hear the word of God spoken and prayer.
Courtney Smith had her first tournament catch to help her team capture the season opener. Courtney and her dad, Craig took first place with a bag of 5 fish, a weight of 8.27 lbs and the big bass a 2.47 largemouth. The team of Ray Grimes & Hunter Grimes placed 2nd with a 5 fish bag weighing 7.11 lbs.. Matt Smith & Molly Jo Smith had the 2nd big bass of the tournament with a beautiful 2.33 lb smallmouth.
The next tournament on the schedule will be May 12, on the Mon River at Pricketts Fort.
