Mon River Results: May 12, 2012
WALT SMITH AND TAYLOR SMITH NETS WIN AT PRICKETTS FORT.
The North Appalachian Legacy Series held it's 2nd tournament of the season on the Mon River at Pricketts Fort near Fairmont, WV.
The pre-tournament dinner meeting was held at the Pricketts Fort State Park area where all teams were served a picnic style dinner.
With a chilling temperature of 36 degrees at the time of launch and heavy fog moving in after the blast off, in addition to very stained waters because of rain storms this past week, made for some very tough fishing conditions for this Division of the Legacy Series.
Walt Smith and Taylor Smith were able to take the win with 2 nice fish weighing 5.36 lbs. They also had the Big Bass of the day weighing in at 3.46 lbs. Matt and Molly Jo Smith placed second with 1 fish weighing 1.91 lbs which took the 2nd Big Bass of the tournament.
