Berwick Results: Jan 21, 2012
Wow!! What a great Tournment at the Berwick landing. Aside from a 2 hour fog delay our Tournament was a success!
Thanks be God who made it all possible. Also, a big thanks to all those who fished today, you guys and ladies made it fun. Thanks to Higher Groung Church in Morgan City, Pastor Ronnie and Big John for your generous hospitality, we had a great meeting Friday night.
The anglers enjoyed a meal of Jambalaya and salad with King Cake for dessert. Quintin Brakebill gave a message of the "Fragrence of God" with a story written by Jill Brakebill. Helping us remember that the presence of God is like a sweet fragrence that lingers with us thru the times of fear and trouble.
Saturday morning was foggy and we had to delay blast off of our 28 boats for over 2 hours. We were able to finally hit the water and had an abundance of bags with a 5 fish limit!
Coming in First place was Winston Michel and Sandy Gaudet.
They had a limit with an impressive 16.39 lbs. They also took first place in Bonus Bucks! Cogratulations guys, wat to start 2012.
Second Place went to Marvin Alleman and Aaron Verrett.
They too had a limit weighing in at 14.99 lbs. Second place Bonus Bucks went to them as well. Thanks guys for fishing with us this year. It is going to be fun.
Third Place went to our last year points champions Ken Sherman and Marc Lowenthal. They had a 5 fish limit topping the scale at 14.96 lbs. and 3rd place Bonus Bucks.
Great way to start 2012, thanks Ken and Marc.
Fourth Place goes to the team of Istre. Carl and Eric Istre brought in a great bag that weighed 14.15 lbs.! They also had second place big fish of 5.42 lbs. Carl and Eric, congratulations, thanks for being a part of Fishers of Men.
Fifth Place belongs to the husband and wife team of James and Sharlot Edwards. Their catch totaled up to 13.99 lbs with the help of first place Big Fish of 5.95 lbs.!! Way to go Team Edwards!
