Ice Breaker Open Results: Apr 14, 2012

The annual Doug Hanes Memorial Ice Breaker Open was a great success. Thanks to all the fishermen who came out and fought the wind, rain and somewhat chilly weather. It seems that no matter how warm it has been it usually cools down for the Ice Breaker.

Of the one hundred twenty one (121) entries this year seventy two (72) weighed in fish, fifty two (52) weighed in a five fish limit and a total of 335 fish were brought to the scales. The team of Gary Hill and Bob Robinson had the largest bag with five bass weighing 13.99 pounds. The team of Kent and Cheryl Smart had the second largest bag with five bass weighing 13.23 pounds. The team of Don Jones and Grant Palmer brought the big bass to the scales weighing 4.73 pounds and second big bass honors went to Darrel Galiafrier and Kenneth Kirtley with a bass weighing 4.24 pounds.
