John 21:3-6 Simon Peter saith unto them, I go a fishing. They say unto him, We also go with thee. They went forth, and entered into a ship immediately; and that night they caught nothing. But when the morning was now come, Jesus stood on the shore: but the disciples knew not that it was Jesus. Then Jesus saith unto them, Children, have ye any meat? They answered him, No. And he said unto them, Cast the net on the right side of the ship, and ye shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it for the multitude of fishes.
Our Friday meeting was held at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Port Deposit, MD. The food was incredible. Adam Weidman and Josh Kreider supplied the meal of baked chicken, potato & macaroni salads. Also we were treated to a mix choice of chips supplied by Herr's Chip Factory. Thanks to Adam and Josh for stepping up and meeting our needs. I also cooked a pot of venison chili - some could handle it and some couldn't. I like it a tad spicy. You couldn't have walked away not hungry from this meal.
Jimmy Rufenacht spoke from John 21. His message was on whom do you listen to? Are you getting the right information? And how are you applying it to your life. This message brought 3 new recommitments. He was called upon on short notice and he didn't disappoint.
