SHAFFER & REAMS TAKE FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON
The West Virginia North Division of the Fishers of Men kicked off their season at Vepco Lake near Bismark, WV. In keeping with it's name, Mt. Storm, 32 brave souls battled against 31 degree temps and snow flurries to actually have a decent catch by the end of the day.
Bart Shaffer and Tim Reams took the win with a catch of 9.95 lbs. Brian Cosner & Dave Craford placed 2nd with a catch of 8.43 lbs. Placing 3rd was Brent Bowsher & Don Upold with a catch of 7.43 lbs.
First Big Bass went to the team of Craig & Taylor Smith with a 3.28 Largemouth. Second Big Bass went to Robert Bowsher, a 2.51 Largemouth. Total weight of all fish caught (66) was 90.96 lbs.
