BOWSHER & UPOLE CAPTURE FIRST WIN OF THE SEASON-POINTS RACE FOR DIVISIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP GETS TIGHT
The West Virginia North Division held the 4th tournament of the season on the Mon River near Fairmont, WV, with fishing conditions described as really tough; the points race for the Divisional championship gets tight. The top 8 teams are within 7 points of each other going into our final tournament of the season at Jennings Randolph Lake.
Brent Bowsher & Don Upole captured their first win of the season with the only limit of the tournament weighing in at 6.62 lbs. including the 2nd Big Bass, a 2.30 largemouth. Joe Llyod & Mike Frazee continue fishing tough in this series with a bag of 4 fish weighing in at 6.32 including the Big Bass of the tournament, a 2.48 largemouth. Robert Bowsher & George Lesson placed 3rd with a bag of 3 fish weighing in at 3.94 lbs.
