Lake Russell Results: Apr 14, 2012
First, I want to thank brother Ken Whitfield and his crew at First Baptist Church of Elberton for the great meal they prepared for us. Brother Ken then brought our devotional about hope and what that means when we put our trust in our Lord Jesus.
Saturday was a gourgeous day, but our teams found fishing to be very tough. Other tournaments that were using the same ramp as we were, found the same thing. The team of Kevin and Konner Sanders were able to catch a limit that weighed in at 6.16 lbs. for first place. Sandy and Nathan Thornton had 4 fish for 5.23 lbs. for second and Stacy and Jackson Smith finished third with 4 fish at 4.08 lbs.
The team of Sterling Lynn and Ben Adams had the big fish for the tournament that weighed in at 2.46 lbs.
Our final tournament of the 2012 season will be held on May 19th at Lake Lanier. We are looking for a good turnout for this final tournament.
