Lake Lanier Results: Mar 17, 2012
For our second tournament of the 2012 season we want to say a big thank you to Pastor Bobby Linkus and Shadowbrook Baptist Church for hosting our pre tournament meeting and meal. After a delicous meal of BBQ pork, chicken and brisket with all the trimmings and dessert, Pastor Linkus brought our message from Mark 5:1-20 of how Jesus cast out the demons from a possessed man. It reminded that we are to minister to people in need anywhere we find them, whether at work, school, everyday life or on the water. Thanks again Pastor for the message.
Saturday Morning brought a cloudy sky at blast-off and the rain was not far behind, however after about two hours it stopped and the rest of the day was beautiful. There was a good catch of spotted bass and a few largemouth thrown in for good measure. Congratulations to Kevin and Konner Sanders for a first place finish with 14.94 lbs. Second place went to Jamey and Jack Harshaw with 11.70 lbs. and also the big fish with a 4.21 spot. Thanks to all the teams that fished and we look forward to seeing you at Lake Russell on April 14.
