The Bass Bonanza Continues!
The Friday night pre tournament meeting was held at the First Baptist Church in Farmer City where Italian food was hot and plentiful. We are so glad to have such a wonderful church family to adopt us while we are at Clinton Lake.
The food isn’t the only thing that is hot in DeWitt Co, Il. The fishing on Clinton Lake continues to amaze us with huge weights still being caught. All eleven teams brought five fish limits to the scales but it was the team of Clint Seaman and Brent Houser that would be the victors Saturday with 20.13 lbs and the BIG BASS of the tournament with a largemouth weighing 5.64 lbs. This also moved Clint and Brent into second place in the points standings. Second Place was the always consistent team of Travis Boley, and John McKinney with an impressive sack weighing 19.14 lbs and Second BIG BASS weighing 5.14 lbs. Third Place was Ian Estes and Michael Sanders with 17.03 lbs. All in all 55 bass were weighed in weighing 163.83 lbs with an average weight of 2.98 lbs. Average per team was 14.89 lbs. The last place finishing team that weighed in a fish was the team of Ray Odom and Mike Norris. They each received a B&R Outlaw Rod.
